

Sebastopol West 100 (SW100) is a “giving circle” membership organization that supports community-based 501(c)(3) non-profits in the West County communities of the Sebastopol area including Graton, Forestville, Occidental and Freestone. Become a Founding Member by joining before June 15, 2025!
SW100 is a fund of Community Foundation Sonoma County, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. SW100 gives their deepest heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the support!
As a trusted community steward, SW100 generates funding to leverage, facilitate, and inspire projects, programs, improvements and ongoing services that will maintain and enhance the quality of life in the greater Sebastopol area.
There will be one annual meeting of the full membership. Each member has one vote. Following an application and review process, the full membership votes on award of grants.
Sebastopol West 100 is an efficient grantor to non-profits in the greater Sebastopol area and will not initiate, fundraise for, or manage its own projects.

2025 GOALS
- SW100 will provide grants to nonprofits serving the greater Sebastopol area by the end of 2025.
- We plan to have over 100 members by the end of 2025.
- Members have a required minimum annual contribution of $1,300, of which no more than 15% is used for administrative expenses with the balance for grantmaking.
- Other donations and Founding Donors contributing $5,000 to $100,000 are encouraged but will not confer additional voting rights.

HOW GOALS WILL BE ACHIEVED:
- Supporting the continuity of beneficial services by community-based 501c3 non-profits operating (but not necessarily based in) the Sebastopol area. Grants to park improvement projects in the area may also be considered.
- Supporting specific programs, equipment purchases, general operating expenses, and improvements to maintain and enhance social, cultural, arts, recreational and environmental aspects of the community.
- Providing gap funding to leverage and enhance competitiveness of grant applications as well as help struggling non-profits through down cycles.
- Encouraging collaboration and cross-pollination among area non-profits as well as enhance community awareness through effective communication such as a joint newsletter.
